Activities

Italy is a country with many cyclists, our magnificent surroundings and slightly hilly landscape is very suitable for challenging bike rides. This is also a beloved area for mountain bikers.

The forests and estates surrounding Casa Bontà welcome everyone to take a beautiful walk. There are charming routes, among which a route to the town Cartosio, where you can climb an old watchtower.

With a bit of luck, while walking and cycling or even sitting outside your tent, you’ll see hares, deers or a fox roaming around the planes and our terrain. During nighttime, we hear the beautiful song of the nightingale or our owl, who has surprised many guests with its “computer beep”. We regularly see buzzards and falcons circling over our land. Or how about the sound of a wonderful woodpecker?

In the near surroundings, there are opportunities to play golf or tennis, fishing, horse riding and swimming in our own pool or in the river. Go swimming in the river, build dams, or jump off the rocks. Success guaranteed!

Since Roman times, Acqui Terme (8 kilometers) has been a known Italian spa, with countless beauty and wellness services available. In the spring and fall, a day of thermal bathing is definitely recommended.

Qi Gong

On Wednesday morning, Tiziana will be teaching a Qi Gong lesson for a minimum of 3 people, a maximum of 15 people and depending on the weather.

Qi Gong is a light type of gymnastics that uses simple exercises based on the synergy of movements, postures and breathing.

According to this Chinese teaching, contact with nature and listening to our physical sensations is very important to keep our body and mind healthy.

On request, Tiziana can also give you a massage. There is a choice of two different massages based on preference, both are of course extremely relaxing.

Hiking and mountainbiking

Several beautiful hiking and mountain biking trails depart from Casa Bontà for both beginners and advanced. Also within a relatively short driving distance there are well-known hiking areas such as the National Park della Beigua in Sassello.
