A holiday at an agriturismo: staying on an Italian farm, surrounded by nature.

Kilian and I grew up in the countryside of Piedmont, among grape harvests and lavender fields. After living in Milan for ten years for study and work, we decided to follow our dream and return to Piedmont. A dream of welcoming guests for a carefree stay at Casa Bonta, while producing our own wine and vegetables at the same time. In Italy, this is called an agriturismo: a holiday experience on an Italian farm.

We do not produce big quantities, only what is enough for us, for our dream, and for our guests. A vineyard, a vegetable garden, an orchard, and open fields. Everything to enjoy our life outdoors.

The Vineyard

The Vineyard

Since 2026, we have been managing a vineyard. It has always been our dream to produce our own grapes and our own wine, and finally the right moment arrived. Our neighbor, who cared for his beautiful vineyard and produced wine for many years, decided to take a step back and entrusted it to us.

He already has a lovely wine cellar with tanks for production, which makes 2026 our first true wine year. We grow Barbera and Dolcetto, and at the same time we are gradually planting new vines on our own land, such as Moscato, a project that will accompany us for many years to come.

In 2027, we hope to open our first bottle.

The Vegetable Garden

The Vegetable Garden

Next to the vineyard we also own a vegetable garden, where we grow zucchini, tomatoes, cucumbers, green beans, and many other vegetables, together with fragrant herbs. We also have a small orchard with several fruit trees.

Yara loves to cook and prefers to use ingredients that come straight from the garden. What grows often decides what ends up on the table that evening.

The Chickens

The Chickens

Our chickens may be a small part of the whole, but they are an essential one. They provide us with eggs all year round: in winter for our family and, in the future, in summer also for our guests.

Our Land

Our Land

Casa Bonta is surrounded by generous stretches of land that we care for with attention. We produce our own hay and firewood, maintaining the fields and woodland in a sustainable way. The hay helps nourish the vegetable garden naturally, and the wood keeps us warm during the winter months.

Animals

Animals

And of course, there is Enzo, our Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. He is energetic, curious, and always ready to play, but just as happy lying close to us in the grass.

Alongside him, three cats quietly follow their own rhythm, completing life on the farm.
